Playing Songs On The Guitar

Hey Guys! When I first started playing the guitar, all I intended to do was to learn how to play songs. I had one song in mind, and that was it. As I began looking for lessons online, I soon found that in order to play a full song, I would need to learn a multitude of things. Stuff such as: chords, strumming, etc.  All this did was frustrate me to the point of quitting, and I did just that.

Six months after quitting, I looked myself in the mirror and told myself that I was going to learn this song. I figured out that the song was made of 4 chords, then I took action. Everyday I would work on playing these 4 specific chords until perfection. Then, I figured out that the one song had a certain strumming pattern, so I took action again. Everyday I would work on playing that specific strumming pattern until perfection. It finally took me around 1 month to completely perfect the song “Drunk On You” by Luke Bryan.
