Hey y’all! My name is Devyn Sams, the main instructor here at the CTG Community.
After yearsĀ of frustration, countless YouTube videos, and trading time for dollars; I decided there had to be an easier way to play the guitar. After digging, I realized there were all these online courses, but they were WAY over a beginners head. After years of trial and error, I was able to conquer the guitar, but knew there had to be an easier way.
Now, I am blessed to have played in countless locations, taught several others how to play, andĀ spread struggles I learned when along my journey. I spend most of my time now playing when and how I please. But, conquering the art of the guitar was not as easy as people make it out to be. That is why the Conquering the Guitar (CTG) Community was created… to make it easy. I now have the opportunity to help play and lead worship in a church of over 1,000 attendees weekly.
Learning to play gave me freedom and opportunity like I never imagined.
Playing the guitar eases my mind and allows me to make important life connections with others no matter the setting I am in!
That’s what CTG is about!
My Brother and I created CTG Community to help other aspiring musicians experience the easiest way to learn to play, and find freedom through doing so.Ā

Before the CTG Community, learning to play the guitar was complicated, time consuming, and stressful. We created content specifically tailored to those difficulties. The handcrafted, step-by-step masterclasses conquers and covers the stress of learning.

The CTG Community now teaches members how to play the guitar in an easy, non-strenuous manner. The community gives members what they want, when they want it. The goal behind the community is to empower members and allow them to learn at their pace…not some music guru’s.
